About Timothy Taylors
Founded in 1858 in Keighley, West Yorkshire, when Timothy Taylor left the tailoring trade to brew beer in a small brewhouse on Cook Lane, the foundations were laid for what has become one of Britain’s most respected breweries.
Timothy Taylor’s remains a Yorkshire family company. That continuity, heritage and independence define who they are. Being family owned allows them to stay true to their long-held beliefs about what makes a great cask ale. Brewed at their Knowle Spring Brewery in Keighley – the site where Timothy Taylor came to live and brew in 1863 and named after the natural spring that sits under it – their beers are a truly authentic craft product.
As a live beer that undergoes secondary fermentation in the cask, each pint requires skill, expertise and attention to detail to brew, store, handle and serve. The reward is a depth of flavour, balance and drinkability that other beers simply can’t match.
Read on to discover what they will be bringing to City Beerfest this year.
