About Intesa Duo:
Intesa was formed in 2023 at the Royal Academy of Music by Lucine Musaelian and Nathan Giorgetti, with the goal of celebrating the viol’s combination with the voice. Intesa is an Italian word meaning “understanding”, or a meeting of minds. This ethos of collaboration is embodied in the duo’s programming, where folk and early music are placed side-by-side, bringing together European and Armenian traditions through narrative and self-accompaniment.
About City Music Foundation:
CMF develops, promotes and supports exceptionally talented solo performers and ensembles in the early-stages of their careers. Each year, they select a cohort of artists who they believe have the potential to become the most sought after artists of their generation. They provide them with financial support and performance opportunities, alongside career development workshops and coaching. This allows artists the best possible platform to thrive as they secure their future performance careers.
