About Violetta Suvini:

Irish-Italian violinist Violetta Suvini is the 2024 recipient of the Royal Philharmonic Society’s Emily Anderson Prize. She was awarded First Prize at the Premio Internazionale Il Suono Giovane 2024, and has appeared as a concert soloist in works by Saint Saens, Mendelssohn and Panufnik.

She is Young Artist in Residence at the Merel Quartet’s Kammermusikfestival Zwischentöne 2025 and was a Britten Pears Young Artist for the 24-25 season, performing 6 premieres at the Aldeburgh Festival 2025. Her radio broadcasts include the UK premiere of Missy Mazzoli’s A Thousand Tongues for BBC Radio 3 and Ravel’s Sonate Posthume for Swiss Radio.

CMF develops, promotes and supports exceptionally talented solo performers and ensembles in the early-stages of their careers. Each year, they select a cohort of artists who they believe have the potential to become the most sought after artists of their generation. They provide them with financial support and performance opportunities, alongside career development workshops and coaching. This allows artists the best possible platform to thrive as they secure their future performance careers.
