Experience some calm on your lunch break at St Lawrence Jewry.
Music recitals have been a regular feature at St Lawrence Jewry since they were introduced by Margaret Cobb (the church organist at the time) in 1957. The programme is formed to create an invaluable platform for both professionals and conservatoire students to perform in a prestigious central London location.
Traditionally, these were limited to just organ and piano, but are now varied, with different soloists, ensembles, and repertoire being showcased on a week-by-week basis. Recitals are held on Tuesdays at 1pm during term time, for up to 40minutes. The timing and relaxed environment for the audience perfectly fit into a lunch break experience.
Times: Tuesdays at 1pm between May 5 and July 7.
Tickets: This is a drop-in event which requires no reservation.
