Discover rarely seen artefacts held in trust for the nation at the City of London Heritage Gallery, within the Guildhall Art Gallery and Roman Amphitheatre.

This exhibition space showcases a rotating selection of rare, fascinating and sometimes surprising documents from the London Metropolitan Archives collection, at the heart of both London’s and the nation’s political and social history for over 1,000 years.

From 27 January to 20 June* 2024, don't miss the new display celebrating one of the oldest markets owned by the City of London Corporation, Billingsgate Market.

Entry is free and included in Guildhall Art Gallery's admission ticket.

*The Billingsgate Market display has been extended to 20 June. The original closing date was 16 May.
