Christmas Lights Switch-On Events

12 November: The Lady Mayor of the City of London will be turning on the lights on London’s iconic Bow Lane. Corner of Watling Street and Bow Lane - 4:30pm.

12 November: See the dazzling festive lights display illuminating the famous Chancery Lane. Corner of Chancery Lane and Cursitor Street - from 5pm.

13 November: The Lady Mayor will kickstart Christmas at Leadenhall Market during this much-loved annual switch-on ceremony. Leadenhall Market - 5:15pm.

19 November: Ludgate Circus will be illuminated with a shimmering spectacle of festive lights. Ludgate Circus/St Bride Street - 5pm to 8pm.

25 November: Carter Lane switch on and carollers from King's College London Music Society. Carter Lane - 5pm.

4 & 5 December: The Aldgate Christmas lights will be switched on as part of the Aldgate in Winter Festival. Aldgate Square. Time to be confirmed.
