Join the Guildhall Symphony Orchestra for a celestial programme in Barbican Hall, including Gustav Holst's iconic suite The Planets in the composer's 150th year.

Start your journey with Thomas Adès' captivating 'Polaris: Voyage for Orchestra', followed by the shimmering soundscapes of Kaija Saariaho’s 'Orion'. Experience the grandeur of Gustav Holst’s 'The Planets', one of the most iconic orchestral suites of all time, before venturing even further with Colin Matthews' electrifying 'Pluto, the Renewer'.

At the conductor's podium is Alpesh Chauhan, Principal Guest Conductor of the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker and Music Director of Birmingham Opera Company.
