LSO Concert – Adámek and Beethoven

Book now

Experience early Beethoven’s wit and jokes paired with a cat-and-mouse chase around the orchestra from Ondřej Adámek by the London Symphony Orchestra.

Beethoven’s First and Fourth Symphonies are witty and elegant. Yet there are moments which foretell the bold, stormy symphonies that would follow, such as the opening for the First’s finale, and the assertive horn blasts in the Fourth’s Scherzo.

Ondřej Adámek’s Follow Me invites listeners into a playful and increasingly wild imitation game between soloist and orchestra. Expect a dynamic dialogue of sounds and rhythms, blending surprise with lots of joy.

Don't miss out on this magnificent concert conducted by Thomas Adès, with the brilliant violinist Isabelle Faust and the London Symphony Orchestra.
