12 November: See the dazzling festive lights display illuminating the famous Chancery Lane. Corner of Chancery Lane and Cursitor Street - from 5pm.

13 November: The Lady Mayor will kickstart Christmas at Leadenhall Market during this much-loved annual switch-on ceremony. Leadenhall Market - 5:15pm.

19 November: Ludgate Circus will be illuminated with a shimmering spectacle of festive lights. Ludgate Circus/St Bride Street - 5pm to 8pm.

20 November: Enjoy a cosy evening filled with mulled wine, mince pies and plenty of Christmas cheer as the Culture Mile Lights Trail lights up for the season. St Bartholomew’s Hospital Courtyard - 4pm to 6pm.

20 November: Don't miss the switch on event of the spectacular 67-foot Eastern City Christmas Tree. TV celebrity guests, mulled wine, mince pies, and a show-stopping performance from the Revelation Avenue Choir. One Bishopsgate Plaza - 5:30pm.

25 November: Carter Lane switch on and carollers from King's College London Music Society. Carter Lane - 5pm.

26 November: An evening full of sparkle, music and community as the Guildhall Yard Christmas Tree shines bright for the first time. Guildhall Yard - 5pm to 7:30pm.

4 & 5 December: The Aldgate Christmas lights will be switched on as part of the Aldgate in Winter Festival. Aldgate Square - 5pm. Don't miss the Lantern Parade on Friday 5 December from 5 to 6pm.
