A revolving programme of family activities may have you heading into the Roman Amphitheatre and hearing tales of Roman conquests, or creating crafts from the Victorian paintings surrounding you.
On the Second Saturday of every month, we run themed family events at Guildhall Art Gallery and London's Roman Amphitheatre.
This coming Second Saturday 9 December get into the festive spirit by joining us to make beautiful Victorian style Christmas decorations, just like the ones adorning our 12ft tree. There will also be storytelling in the morning, and a story corner with soft cushions, costumes, and building bricks available all day.
- 11am: Storytelling
- 12pm - 3pm: Create your own Victorian Christmas Decoration
There will also be a story corner with soft cushions, and building bricks available, and as if that wasn’t enough under 12s can visit our exhibition Treasures of Gold and Silver Wire for free, and on the second Saturday of the month can each bring an accompanying adult in for free with them.
Second Saturday activities are free, but booking is advised.
You can bring a picnic lunch to have in Guildhall Yard, or eat nearby. Please note that this event is for children aged 3-13 and their families, and it is not suitable for individual adults.
Sign up to the family mailing list to be the first to hear about upcoming events.
