At the heart of this collaboration is a conversation between cultures. Dana, known for her innovative Korean flavours at Jang, joins forces with Tasha, the Sri Lankan-born chef and cookbook author behind Jayaflava: A Celebration of Food, Flavour and Recipes from Sri Lanka (HarperCollins India, 2023). Tasha’s bold, vibrant approach to island cuisine has gained international acclaim, with appearances on BBC One’s Saturday Kitchen and BBC Radio 6 Music, and features across global food media.
Together, Dana and Tasha will craft a four-course tasting menu that marries Korean depth with Sri Lankan vibrancy, pushing the boundaries of traditional dining while celebrating shared culinary heritage. Each course is designed to spark dialogue between two food cultures that prize spice, fermentation, and layered complexity.
The Jang Supper Club promises to be an intimate, immersive celebration of culinary creativity, identity, and collaboration - an invitation to witness two chefs, two heritages, and two traditions in dialogue on the plate.
