Tasting Notes

Sussex Best Bitter

4% ABV | Cask | Sussex Best Bitter

‘The Beer of Sussex’ - balanced and moreish. Four different varieties of locally grown aroma hops combine with Maris Otter malt to produce a rounded palate with bitterness to the fore.

  • Appearance: Amber
  • Aroma: Bready
  • Taste: Slightly sweet with bitter aftertaste
  • Body: Full and rounded

Wharf IPA

4.2% ABV | Keg | IPA

A modern, heavily hopped IPA. It is brewed with new hop varieties to create a joyful outpouring of fresh flavours from the bine. A zesty and fragrant golden beer.

  • Appearance: Pale
  • Aroma: Hoppy
  • Taste: Smooth, crisp bitterness
  • Body: Light

Pilsner

4% ABV | Keg| Lager

Brewed using lightly roasted malts, combined with a touch of Munich malt. Soft, bready taste with a layered bitterness derived from Lubelski hops grown within the old Prussian Empire.

  • Appearance: Light​ yellow
  • Aroma: Sweet
  • Taste: Balanced and refreshing
  • Body: Fresh and crisp
