About Harbour Brewing Company

Relaunched in 2017, two friends bought the Hofmeister brand and set off to Bavaria to brew the best beer they possibly could.

Now they're an independent, British-owned company making world-class beer in the heart of Bavaria. Their beers have won over 26 major industry awards for taste and quality including ‘World’s Best Lager’ at the last IWSC Beer Awards, Gold at the European Beer Challenge for the past six years and a coveted three stars from the Great Taste Awards for our Weisse beer.

Their signature Helles lager is made by a fourth-generation family brewery in the heart of Bavaria and is brewed colder and longer than other beers. Handcrafted and authentic, they only ever brew in keeping with the German Reinheitsgebot beer purity law meaning our Helles can only use three local ingredients - pure mineral water, locally grown barley and Hallertau hops.

Hofmeister Helles

5% ABV | Keg | Lager (Helles) | Vegan

Made with just mineral water, locally-sourced barley and Hallertau Hops, multi-award winning Hofmeister Helles is authentic imported lager made in the heart of Bavaria by a fourth-generation family brewery.

Appearance: Bright, sunshine-gold with a creamy white head.
Aroma: Light bready or biscuit aroma mixed with a touch of flowers or spice.
Taste: Digestive biscuit and subtle notes of honey are followed by the tingle of floral and spicy hop bitterness and then a snappy refreshing finish.
Body: Classic full-bodied Helles lager.

Hofmeister Weisse

5.1% ABV | Keg | Wheat Beer | Vegan

Hofmeister Weisse is authentic Bavarian wheat beer. Crafted with mineral water, locally-sourced barley, wheat and Hallertau Hops, it’s also winner of 3 stars at the 2024 Great Taste Awards.

Appearance: A slightly hazy, golden hue, topped with a satiny head of foam that lasts and lasts.
Aroma: Aromas are full of ripe banana and vanilla, backed by a bready, brioche note.
Taste: Notes of lemon drizzle cake are off-set by a refreshing hint of bitterness.
Body: A rich body that feels like it turns to cream on your tongue.

Hofmeister Bearly Any

0.5% Ultra Low ABV | Bottle | Helles Lager | Vegan

Crisp and refreshing, Bearly Any is a 0.5% ultra-low Helles lager made authentically in the heart of Bavaria with just mineral water, locally-sourced barley and Hallertau Hops.

Appearance: Hofmeister Ultra Low pours a crystal-clear, pale straw, with a moderate head.
Aroma: The biscuity, sweetness of the malt prevails alongside a subtle fruitiness at the edges and the presence of earthy, hops.
Taste: Refreshing and drinkable with sweet grain, fresh grassy hops and bready notes as well as plenty of body and a good crisp finish.
Body: Full-bodied classic Helles.
